SMALL GROUPS PROVIDE FOUR PRIMARY OPPORTUNITIES
There are two things we need as believers: First, we need to sense that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. Secondly, we need to sense that we are impacting others in close relationships.
In Acts 2 when the first church was born, and throughout the Book of Acts, we see the power of meeting in small groups:
“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47
“And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.” Acts 5:42
“I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.” Acts 20:20
